Josh practiced for four years as Crown counsel at Ontario’s Ministry of the Attorney General before moving back to Manitoba in fall 2020.
During his time with the Crown Josh maintained a diverse civil litigation practice representing Ontario in corporate commercial and public law disputes, class proceedings, claims involving the rights of Indigenous peoples, administrative law proceedings, human rights claims, negligence claims against public entities, as well as constitutional applications under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
Josh is Metis and traces his ancestry to Duck Lake and Baie St. Paul. He joined the firm on September 28 and will continue to practice civil litigation as well as child protection.
