Cochrane Saxberg Welcomes 2021-22 Articling Students
Cochrane Saxberg is pleased to welcome to our team 2021-22 Articling Students Josh Micflikier and Meghan Leung.
Josh Micflikier is a 2021 graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba. Prior to attending law school, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Manitoba. During his time at law school, Josh was involved with organizations such as CanU, Motionball, the Manitoba Law Students Association, the University of Manitoba Law Centre and the L. Kerry Vickar Business Law Clinic. He has work experience as a Case Aide with Jewish Child and Family Services and in Civil Litigation as a law student with a local firm. Outside of work, Josh enjoys travelling, spending time on Lake of the Woods, cooking, and playing/watching sports, such as hockey and golf.
Meghan Leung is also a 2021 graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba. Before law school, Meghan completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Manitoba with a major in Criminology and a minor in French. Throughout her time in law school, Meghan was an active member of the Robson Hall community, serving on the MLSA Grad Committee, MLSA Social Committee, Robson Hall Bilingual Students Association, and the Health and Elder Law Group. Meghan was a volunteer with Pro Bono Students Canada, the Winnipeg Humane Society, and the Community Legal Education Association. She also worked as a research assistant for the Centre canadien de français juridique, the Faculty of Law for the Robson Hall Bilingual Students Program, and the Office of the Dean. Outside of work, Meghan enjoys travelling, running, and spending time with family and friends.
