Biography
Alyssa is an Associate at Cochrane Saxberg, practicing primarily in the areas of Indigenous Law, Civil Litigation and Child Protection.
Alyssa has appeared before all levels of court in Manitoba, the Federal Court, and the Supreme Court of Canada.
In her advocacy practice, Alyssa specializes in Child Abuse Registry hearings on behalf of Child and Family Services agencies and has extensive experience in litigating these cases. Alyssa also frequently represents Indigenous clients in legal proceedings, including matters relating to Aboriginal and Treaty rights, and class actions.
Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys travelling, paddleboarding with her dog, and playing sports, such as soccer and softball.
