Jodi joined Cochrane Saxberg as an articling student in June 2023 following her graduation from the University of Manitoba’s Robson Hall Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, Jodi Plenert obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Canadian Mennonite University.
During law school, Jodi participated in advocacy-focused activities including the Gale Cup Moot Competition and the Canadian National Negotiation Competition. Jodi also sat as the Manitoba Law School Association’s council chair, served as an editor of the Manitoba Law Journal, worked at the Legal Help Centre, and volunteered with Level’s Indigenous Youth Outreach Program, Welcome Place, and Creative Manitoba. Jodi also participated in Robson Hall’s Rights Clinic and the Cochrane Saxberg Indigenous Community Clinic.
When she is not working, Jodi enjoys playing music; staying active through volleyball, rowing, baseball, and yoga; and spending quality time with family and friends.
